hateradepicI was reading Scripture in the book of Matthew and I came across the event of the Rejection of Jesus in his hometown of Nazareth (Matthew 13:54-58). Because the residents of Nazareth knew Jesus since his was a child they could not bring themselves to believe that He was the Messiah because they simply viewed him as a son of a local carpenter.
